Pomodoro by Increaser News #11
In this story, I want to tell you about new changes that were made in the Pomodoro by Increaser, what is the current state of the app, and what I am going to do the next week.
This Week
This week I finally added authorization with LinkedIn so that people that don’t have Google and Facebook accounts can join.
When authorization with Google doesn’t work on a user’s browser, he won’t see “Sign In with Google” button.
This feature took longer than I planned, but it worth it, and I’m happy with the result.
Current State
This week sent the first emails to disappear users, and for 12 emails were 0 responses. The second week in a row, no new members join the app. In comparison to the previous news, this week were more users and sessions according to analytics.
Next Week
Next week I will take the time to think about the direction the app should take. I don’t set a list of tasks as I usually do because at the given moment I don’t see anything worth implementing. If we look at the list of requested features, there is the one thing worth doing, one with the least amount of upvotes. I don’t think that other features should be implemented now because they will increase the complexity of the app without bringing much of a value.
